## Your First Brand [#your-first-brand]

After signing in for the first time, Elmo shows the **Brand Onboarding** screen. This is where you tell Elmo about your brand.

Enter your **website URL** (e.g. `https://yourbrand.com`) and click **Continue**. Elmo creates your brand profile and redirects you to the dashboard.

## What Elmo Extracts [#what-elmo-extracts]

From your website URL, Elmo identifies:

* **Brand name** — Parsed from your site's metadata
* **Primary domain** — The domain you entered
* **Industry context** — Used to generate relevant prompts in the next step

## Managing Brand Details Later [#managing-brand-details-later]

After initial setup, you can update your brand's details in **Settings → Brand**:

* **Name** — Your brand name as it should appear in AI responses
* **Website** — Your primary website URL
* **Domains** — Additional domains associated with your brand
* **Aliases** — Alternative names or spellings AI models might use

In local deployment mode, Elmo operates as a single-organization instance.
